BANDA Baaj Baaraat, ROBOT AND MAKE TECHNICAL DABANGG IIFA Awards!
The International Indian Film Academy (IFA) today announced the winners of technical awards category IFA Awards 2011. Prizes to the winners at the IFA Videocon Weekend in Toronto, Canada. Band Baaja Baaraat, Dabangg Robot and led the technical responsibility of the three winners each. Maneesh Sharma's Band Baaja Baaraat won awards for editing Namrata Rao, Vijay Dayal Song Recording for "Ainvayi Ainvayi and costumes by Niharika Khan. Rajnikanth Robot gaze went back to Best Art Director Sabu Cyril who also won the same award at IFA 2010 as well. Robot also won awards for special effects by Indian artists and makeup Banu. Salman Khan starrer, Dabangg was rewarded with a dance and pop "Munni Badnaam Hui," choreographed by Farah Khan and Leslie Fernandes, who won best song recording. The film also won the award for Best Action S. Vijayan. The award for best film went to Sudeep Chatterjee Guzaarish and Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy won the award for best background score of My Name is Khan while Pritam Das won for best sound recording of Love, Sex aur Dhoka.
