TV Actresses Sex Racket

Two actresses in the city were arrested by the narcotics wing of the Central Directorate of the crime to solicit customers for prostitution.

Suma (29), resident of Nagarabhavi who starred in films and series of several Kannada, was arrested with actress Lakshmi Cine, leading racket.

Based off the tip, the police team raided the hotel in the west of Chord Road and arrested the couple and two other decisions exploiters. Suma has worked on films such as Sandalwood and Arbhata in supporting roles, and was paid Rs 20 000 Lakshmi on a daily basis to entertain clients.

"Lakshmi used to organize the client and the room and can Suma and sections" Assistant Commissioner of Police R Lakshman said.

Lakshman said that, in addition to movies, Suma has acted in soap operas such as Kannada Rangoli, Mangalia and Baduku. Lakshmi is also the same line and played in many series.

The police said the duo wanted to make a quick buck, and it is in this profession for several months.
