Apparently Alec Baldwin is not super into the idea of simply typing a bunch of old jam rock and 80's, weaving in some type of history, put the film and call it a comedy music. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor dropped adaptation of the Broadway musical Rock of Ages, to be directed by Adam Shankman. The announcement, indeed, seems a bit of a surprise, as Baldwin said on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last week about his enthusiasm for the project, but, shit happens, I guess. However, those who feared that its output is adjusted less stars, not fear, there's a zillion big name game to sing and dance their way through poison covers, including Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Malin Akerman, Bryan Cranston, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough, and Diego Boneta.
