Torrance, California - Authorities say that David Beckham was at the wheel of a car rear-ended another vehicle on the highway south of California. California Highway Patrol said Saturday football was not injured in an accident Friday morning, but the driver of the other car was hospitalized after complaining of pain in the neck. Scout says Beckham struck a Mitsubishi Cadillac stopped carpool lane 405 Freeway in Torrance. The driver, 40, of Los Angeles, the man was taken to hospital as a precaution. His name was not released. Beckham was not mentioned. 35-year-old Beckham joined Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy, 2007. Before then, he has played in Europe, Manchester United and Real Madrid and was captain of the England 2000-2006.
