Ayesha Takia's next is a remake of 'Keeping Watch'

Director Nagesh Kukunoor mod is a remake of the film's official Taiwanese watch. The director had seen the film several years ago.

He was so moved that he decided to redo the Indian public, by buying the rights.

Ooty development

The film is a suspense drama and stars Ayesha Takia opposite Rannvijay Singh (of fame roadies). As he says "It's a wrap" (list of results, April 12), Mod was shot in Ooty in the beginning to end, time earlier this year.

This second remake after Dor Nagesh, which has been adapted from an award winning film Perumazhakkalam Malayalam.

A source close to Nagesh reveals: "He liked the concept of the film he thought it was wrong and he could not do much better .."

Close to the original

However, the Indian version remained close to the original in terms of plot and character. "Although the story remains the same, it was more Indianised.

Only a few changes have been introduced in the character Raghuvir Yadav, who plays the father of Aisha, "the source added.

Nagesh were unavailable for comment.
