Mumbai, May 5 (IANS) The list of Indian actors tread the red carpet at the 64th Cannes International Film Festival is growing. The latest to join the wagon is the Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, and he is enthusiastic about participating in the gala, from Wednesday.
Saif represent spirits brand, Chivas Regal, official partner of Cannes Film Festival.
"It's exciting to represent the brand in Cannes. There are a lot of international artists at the festival and is very nice to be part of that," Saif said Thursday, adding that he will walk on the red carpet "black tie and jacket dinner. "
When asked if his girlfriend actress Kareena Kapoor accompany him, told reporters: "No, Kareena will not be in Cannes with me this time."
His mother Sharmila Tagore was once the jury at Cannes.
